History of South Bay Family Medical Group

South Bay Family Medical Group was founded by three physicians. In 1979, the group moved to Redondo Beach adjacent to South Bay Hospital.The most senior and current member, Dr.F.Lee Reitler, joined the original three in the 1980s.

The founding members were committed to providing each patient with a "complete care" approach. They invested in a variety of in-house services, ensuring that the needs of each patient are met during every visit.

The group established a reputation of excellence for both inpatient and outpatient care. Although the original three members have retired and are no longer practicing, their mission and commitment to their community and providing quality care remains strong to this day.

South Bay Family Medical Group is currently located in two South Bay locations: Torrance and Manhattan Beach.
